No Tail

22 December 2015
Ooto places and Ideas Test commission

On the longest night of the year, December 22nd, No Tail took over Strood’s 13th century building, Temple Manor, a historic gem locked inside an industrial estate. Created with and for the people of Strood,  No Tail was a unique pantomime drawing on historic mumming plays and hidden local stories, past and present. The event was a celebration of the winter solstice, full of magical potential, where anything becomes possible.

Created by Artist Ruth Ewan with Penny Cliff, Dom Coyote, Cis O’Boyle, Bernd Fauler, James Frost and Rachel Anderson, produced by idle women for OOTO Places, an Ideas Test Flagship Programme.
